Wide Crack in the Earth

We made a good deal of progress on our craft project after figuring out a stressful snag with ruffle making. But the sun was shining and temps in the 50s today so we also had to spend time outside. We decided to go heart rock and sea glass shopping in Fish Creek while the weather was at it warmest. And we were not disappointed in our finds. We brought home pink, deep blue, green, white and brown glass and several varieties of pottery shards. We even found some very old brick pieces. And we added to my sister’s extravagant heart rock collection. The water was crystal clear in a large area so we could wade around and snag treasures off the river bed. But my most interesting sighting was this wide area of erosion that resulted from heavy snows followed by a lot of rain rushing down the hill. The crew worked together on dinner, a chicken and vegetable stir fry. Glad we have leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch. When everyone pitches in, the job is easier and goes so quickly. Know someone who could use a bit of help? Thanks for the visits.
