The sharper edge of darkness

The darkness has a sharp edge
And light seems fuzzy and out of focus
I try to bring the blue and green beyond into focus
But it remains indistinct
Something to be reached for but not yet apprehended
It won’t always be so
Sometimes these things are out of our control
It is all just part of the picture
