lift

Made a trip out to Dallas to be with Tiger and Frank for Frank's surprise party at the Presidential Suite of the Hilton Anatole, then dinner. They have a friend, Darren, that works at the hotel, so he got us access to the room for free--it's ordinarily $2,000 a night! Three bathrooms, a presidential desk (with a signed picture of Gerald and Betty Ford...wtf?), two flat screen TVs, a bar. But we just used it for an hour. But here we are on the way up in the elevator to hide until Darren arrived with Tiger and Frank to give them a "tour" of the suite.

Afterwards we all went and had some amazing, authentic Italian food at a little hole-in-the-wall type place called Bellini's (I think). Don't make it out to Dallas much (I think was only my 3rd, maybe 4th time), so I always make sure it's a good time. And this it was! Tiger and Darren planned this all out quite well and it was good to hang with so many of my colleagues from school outside of that environment. Huzzah!
