The daughter being back at work and nursery up in the air till the end of the month, we had the wean for her longest session yet. So obviously it had to be choreographed with a nap, meals, Katie Morag, and trip to the beach. That was some cold wind. The biggest change to report since her last visit is that she’s now facing forward in the buggy.
All of this activity wiped out the news in the background; Sunak announcing the budget, Nicola appearing before the Salmond enquiry committee. Snap verdict is that she evaded any damage; she did admit her Govt’s handling wasn’t too clever. But not ill-intentioned. Unlike her “handsy” nemesis.
I was wiped too but didn’t fall asleep later during my personal audio broadcast of Station Eleven. I’m being read to, y'see, as I’ve never got round to reading it and the SK wanted to read it again. Win-win!
Then, an enjoyable meet up with the old boys - the highlight, I’d modestly assert, being my video from under the eaves. The “squirrel” has been despatched. They’re solitary creatures, right?
