An Old Friend

One of my collection of old friends.

Dating from before 1982 when an "updated" model the STX-1n was introduced with arguably an inferior metering system, the STX-1 is an old friend of mine. For an entry level camera it was pretty solidly built and of course now 40 years later it is still in good working order. I wonder if my digital gear will be still working in 2050 after I myself have long since passed away. I somehow doubt it.
