Abstract Thursday

As it's the first Thursday of the month, Ingeborg hasn't set a specific topic for today's AT challenge.

This started off as a photo of a rather pretty gift tube for a wine bottle, coloured red with a white spiral design on it. I guess a straight photo would have done for my abstract, but I couldn't resist the temptation to fartnarkle it in Photoshop. I did "Find Edges", "Solarise" and then "Polar Coordinates": my Editor and I quite like the colours and shapes which these filters produced - blip done!
