Oscarshall

Had a walk around the peninsula Bygdø in Oslo. Lovely weather. Some chilly winds from north made it a refreshing walk. Passed Oscarshall. It was built by King Oscar (1799-1859) and Queen Joséphine (1807-1876) - during the years 1847 to 1852. The Palace was once surrounded by a park which was landscaped in the Romantic style with paths and fountains. Walked on the paths today. Didn`t see any fountain. We just have a few palaces like this in our country, so I was happy to blip this.
