Lego Lass
After the last two days of walking the Waterfront and generally being extremely active it was a relief to slow down a bit this morning.
The weather was a bit disappointing here in Wellington with clouds coming and going but absolutely no rain. There was little point in another trip into town to the Waterfront. Very poor light for photography!
Lunch and a little bit of shopping in Porirua rounded off the day and then we headed back to Margaret's place.
Emily loves her Lego. She spends hours playing with it. Yesterday's purchases have added to her collection. Here, she has it spread out over the living room floor.
Apparently lego is the rage with the youngsters. I don't know if it ever went out of fashion but we still have boxes of the stuff at home in Blenheim.
Our three sons, in particular, loved their lego and, like Emily, put hours into maiking all sorts of imaginative buildings and other objects. It certainly kept them out of mischief. Long live Lego!
