The sole relic

I went for a walk this afternoon to add a few more streets to my Streets of Bowdon photographic project (streetsofbowdon.co.uk) and while walking through an area of imposing, detached residences (see the extra photos!) came upon this sad relic.

This must be the sole remaining example of the homes that were originally erected when the farmland around here was developed in the 60s. There is nothing else like it anywhere in this particular neighbourhood - everything's been demolished and redeveloped over the decades. I imagine its occupier's neighbours will be only too pleased when whoever is living in it dies or moves away.
