Woodpile
In the chill of the wind I ended up taking a walk to The Garden, meticulously tended by two brothers in their sixties. It's a real pleasure being there, at any time of the year. A calmness rests over the the four fields in the forest, maybe because every thing has its purpose, a clear meaning and a beauty, besides being treated, cultivated and crafted with love and knowledge, with the aid of plenty of time.
Not much is growing yet but it's clear that everything will start when the conditions are right. It's hard to give a just overview picture so I give you a detail that sums up the care everything is treated with. A simple woodpile ends up being a work of art, ready to be used as firewood in due time after it's properly dried at least one year, when this size.
