I did not expect to find any really wild primroses flowering before April although I know they are in parts of England and Wales.  In a few weeks there will be a mass of them in this little sheltered copse.  Incidentally last Sunday’s cow and calf are still in the shed and not with the rest so perhaps one of them has not been well.
