Weir's Way

It was a fairly cold overcast day today.  We went for a circular walk today and passed by Sanquhar Loch and the weir.  I love watching the water thundering over the weir after heavy rain.  It reminded me of the old 70's/80's tv show Weir's Way which I used to watch late night repeats of on STV in the early 2000's.  It was a tv series following climber, author and broadcaster Tom Weir as he traveled around Scotland exploring its landscape, natural history and meeting its people.  You can watch episodes online.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7dn9vhCFak
