Look familiar?

When my plan to capture the afternoon sunlight filtering through a grove of birch trees at Lynde Shores failed, I decided to focus on just the bark of one tree.  I loved the colours, texture and design in the bark and thought they could be the inspiration for an abstract painting, or a fibre arts wall hanging. So, finally I have a blip that is a bit different from what I usually post.
