Palette of colour

I have found the time to do a little bit of painting tonight. My subject is a pine cone that has been catching my eye for a while, I tried to do a pencil sketch the other night but the vision that I had in my head did not match what I had on the paper in front of me so that is what prompted me to do a watercolour tonight. I hoped to have it finished for my Blip tonight but with the time fast approaching midnight I thought that I would show you my pallete of watercolour blocks which I use and you can see the finished painting tomorrow.
