Signs of Autumn

I had a early start as I had a Specialist appointment with a Neurosurgeon. We left early as the traffic can be busy that time in the morning, but we were lucky and had a smooth trip and arrived early. Because I was the first person on the list I was taken early and I got out just after my appointment time.

The Specialist wants me to a urgent MRI on the spine. He even put in for the request while I was there. I have numbness from my waist down to the top of the legs. Mostly on the right hand-side and also my feet and some also starting in the legs today. Where I had the trouble back in 1994 and became paralysed and it was found I had a Aneurysmal Bone Cyst at T9 and 10 in my spine. Hopefully that isn't growing again. It could be anything. Will be interesting to see how long I have to wait. Still waiting for the one on my neck. I aksed if they could be both done at the same time. The Specialist seems to think.. not, as the spine one will be a very long scan, but has put in a request. If I get worst I have to go straight away to the A&E.

Other news is the Earthquakes and the Tsunami. I was awaken by the first Earthquake 7.3 around 2:30 am. It lasted a while so knew it was a bad one somewhere. Luckily it was just of the coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Then later in the morning there was a the bigger one 8.1 near the Kermadec Islands about 1000km from New Zealand. There was a Tsunami warning for a few hours. Luckily there were only a few small waves.
