Calm before the storm!!!

Well I don't know where to begin today as I've just had the most amazing Saturday.
Started off bit too early taking Jack to football where at last they won their first match this season, the boys played their socks off and started to look like the team they were last season - Jack is team captain but he took a nasty knock half way through last year and got quite badly injured and was out for alot of games and I think it knocked his confidence but yesterday he was just like the old Jack and I was so proud of him and all the boys .....GO LIONS!!!

We then had a dinner date with one of my oldest friends for her hubs 40th birthday, she had hired a private dinning room for 16 of us to eat and it was just lovely , it was at the hotel where Jays dad has worked for 20 years before he retired so we had a little think of him as we walked around - although it's now a bit tired and not to the standard it was when he worked there it was nice to have a little moment wondering how many times he had walked the corridors and how many awkward guests he had to deal with , just another little memory to insure he is never forgotten xxx
So anyway the evening was full of laughter, alcohol , great food and great company so it just topped off a great day xxxx

P.s; This is my friend and I pre alcohol , I hate photos of myself normally but even I have to admit that this isn't so bad !! Xx
