Making a beeline..

for the cosmos.  A very different start to the day after three strong earthquakes, the first  7.1 at 2.27am  and 100km off the East Coast and then two  (7.4 and 8.1) off the Kermadec Islands, the last one resulting in a red tsunami alert warning. I spent much of the morning watching the live tv coverage as thousands along the coastline were ordered to go to higher ground. So impressed that the communities responded so calmly and quickly, Schools practice for such an event and it paid dividends. The surges were not big and all warnings have thankfully been lifted.   Have a good weekend eveyone.
