Camellia in Memory

Today, at 11.59 am, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, invited the Swiss population to respect one minute's silence for those people who have lost their lives to Covid-19.  The church bells were also rang out and I went on my balcony to record them.   The candle in the extra was lit just before midday.
There have been 9.300 deaths in Switzerland to date.

There were nine beautiful Camellia flowers on my little plant this morning and this is one of them. I was surprised to see how they had changed in colour and become lighter with a slight orange glow.
