HanumanYantra

Just under two weeks ago I did a workshop on the geometry of drawing the Hanuman Yantra. Today I finished painting it. Hanuman, half monkey, half man god is the symbol of power in the heart, selfless action, devotion, and strength, and is humble, brave and wise. Here the yantra is held by the four petaled lotus which represents Muladhara, the root chakra (no mud no lotus)

I will be enjoying your pictures over the next week, but I’m practicing a week of reading deprivation with The Artists Way, so I’m planning not to do any reading - we’ll see - your journals are very tempting!
