painting under a bridge

This scene is part of a large painting of the bridge under the motorway, towards the Haanveld.
We walk there more often and there also happens to be a farmer who sells fresh eggs and vegetables and fruit.
This painting was painted last summer. It is part of a special commemoration that the Romans used to have a settlement here in the south of the Netherlands. If you look closely you can also see Romans riding in front on horseback.
