American Breakfast

Our wonderful friends Jo Ellen and Freddie took us to Wyken Vineyard today for an American breakfast and it was fantastic! Homemade blueberry pancakes, with whole blueberries in them, bacon and maple syrup, washed down with fresh orange juice and coffee - yum!

The place itself is beautiful with old converted barns, gorgeous gardens and a local farmers' market. We were only there for three hours but I felt like I had been on holiday - it was a real treat.

Jo Ellen and Freddie are two of the most incredible people I've met (I'm not just saying that in the hope that they check out my blip!); they radiate love and warmth, and they are so, so funny. The picture says it all really. We had a lot of fun with them today.
