Couple of Brown-headed Cowbirds

As soon as I had fed the cats this morning, I was out back topping up the bird feeders and putting out a couple of corn cobs for the squirrels.

Today being Friday, it was back porch lunch date day with Birgit. It was on the cold side but not near as cold as last Friday.

I took Birgit a set of cookbooks I got back in the mid 80’s and she’s all over them, wanting to know how long she can borrow them for!

We spent the majority of our time discussing a docuseries that I had watched on Netflix.

Once home again, I sat outside in the sun and did some mending.
