Exotic birds

Out for a run with Cian and came across a couple of nice birds while we passed the Wildlife Park. Rheas.

I also had a philosophy lesson from the 8 year old: he asked how God had made the world - I explained about the bible version and the science version - "maybe the scientists are only slightly wrong - maybe God was created during the big bang..." - that's your thought for the day. Discuss.

Only slightly bettered by his observation while jogging - "I don't really like doing this, I just have to do it", "Well, that's just like a lot of things in life, son", "Like marrying mum...?" I have no safe philosophical response to that one - I was on firmer ground with the existentialist stuff
