Tree Scaling

There was a Coppice Day in the National Trust woods next to school today, and the girls really wanted to go along. Following a dose up of Lemsip Max and Ibuprofen, I managed a couple of hours before I had to return.

There was lots to do for the kids, activities galore. Proper outdoor learning at its best. I spent hours in the woods growing up (not all the time, not raised by wolves or anything) and I am sure my love of nature and urge to study Zoology at university came from that.
