Cramond Island

We watched the newly released film about the Scottish painter James Morrison the other night - would *very highly* recommend catching it, if you can?

You can see some of his work via this link - personally, I really like his magnificent skyscapes! - and have thus tried (not sure how well I've succeeded?) to recreate the effect on a trip over to Cramond Island :-)

Have put up a couple of extras too - 1st one is taken from the top of the island, looking back towards Edinburgh (with the Pentlands in the far background); 2nd one also taken from the island, looking out across the truly vast expanse of the Firth of Forth.
