I went to Alnwick to visit the parents on Good Friday. After a family lunch at a local pub-restaurant (and a small snooze) Mum and I spent a chunk of the afternoon playing Scrabble. During the second game, our neighbour S (on the right) popped in for a brief lesson on how to do the basic things with her new digital camera. Mum stepped in to show her the ropes, which made me chuckle a lot as 5 minutes previously she's been spitting chips at the "prescriptive text" on her mobile and her inability to switch it off...
