Big city

Had to drive to Newcastle today for the face to face (more mask to mask) part of my vaccination volunteer training. Over an hour's drive and it felt strange to be going so far with all the restrictions. After the training session I walked through the city centre back to the car. A fair few empty shop windows. Still it was good to see a different place. Lots of buses going by and people strolling about but no buskers or people giving out leaflets so, inevitably, lacking the usual city buzz.
