At the end of the day

A very busy day today. Talked to the builder who’s going to create an additional bedroom in our house, selected vinyl flooring for the bedrooms, removed carpeting from one bedroom and that was just the morning. In the afternoon, Martine and the girls worked with a dog trainer (and Joey of course). In the meantime, our friend Mark had arrived and we removed the wooden floor in the living room. We also worked on removing the plateau around the fireplace, but that proved to be a challenging task because a lot more bricks and concrete were used for that thing than we anticipated. We will probably ask our builder to take care of that; hopefully he will have time available before the new wooden floor is planned to be installed...

After dinner, I went for a short walk to reach my daily goals and close the rings on my Apple Watch. By the way: dinner was made by our friend Marloes and this was greatly appreciated.
