Down by the river side
An early click and collect grocery pick up, followed by a riverside walk with a purpose. I was foraging (a new lockdown boredom buster) and gathered up enough nettle shoots for nettle soup. I teamed that with homemade bread and I'm now feeling pleased at having given it a try. I conclude that nettle soup, although very healthy, doesn't have much flavour or substance. It needs potato to bulk it out and onion and garlic for flavour. I enjoyed the experiment anyway.
