I thought I felt the earth move ...

Productive day. Made 2 cakes. His and hers. Simple sponge for Mr B. A vegan banana/chocolate/coconut cake for me.

I avoid baking, just thinking about it and the kilos pile on. But fancied trying something new. My vegan cake came out brilliantly, but next time definitely less sugar.

Walked to the goats. A fabulous day. Apparently only 7C, but felt mild. Sat in the garden in the sun for a while before going up for tea and cake.

My photo is the view over to the Carlton Hotel, a former 5* hotel which once welcomed the rich and famous.

Silly Saturday today, so my topsy turvy blip should fit in well.
