Another chaotic and unsettling day.
It started early with mum in an ambulance at 6.30am on her way to hospital. After being awake for several hours struggling with her breathing she finally gave in, thank goodness, and called for help. She spent some time in resuscitation being tested and assessed. The doctor called to say she was back on the oxygen and has a blood clot on her lung and that she would be staying in until it has been dispersed and she no longer needs the oxygen. I haven't had much chance to speak to her as her breathing is not good and she is obviously exhausted. She managed a couple of hours sleep this afternoon and rang me briefly when she woke. Hopefully I will be able to speak to her a little more tomorrow.
