V-Day...

A Grand Day Out!  

And a lovely sunny day.

Headed off at 11.20am.  Arrived at the health centre a few minutes later.  Treated like Royalty   (three people queuing to check in whilst we were ushered straight through) Alan all charm and smiles at the lady doc till she stuck the needle in his arm and then his face was like WTAF?!!!  He recovered quickly enough to laugh at D and me whilst we got our jags.

Out to the car and still all smiles.  Sat for fifteen minutes as is the rules for driving after the vaccination, then home again.  We were back in the house exactly 28 minutes after we left.  So more of a grand half hour out rather than a day!  :-)))

Got the AstraZeneca jag.  No side effects so far although D and I both conked out after lunch (him for two hours and me for three!) but that may just have been the excitement of actually getting out!  Or our age :-)

Second jag scheduled for 22nd may which would have been my gran's 103rd birthday.

Dinner courtesy of J&F dine at home so no cooking tonight.  Woo hoo :-))
