Boozy brunch

Up at 7 to let the puppy out then we both snuggled up on the sofa till after 8. We had our respective breakfasts then back in the sofa for another hour. Lovely hour long walk through the field when I saw goldfinches and a bird of prey but wasn’t clues enough to capture either. The field has diggers in an enclosure now which leads me to think it will soon be developed for housing. A pity on many counts.

Off to my bubble friends house for an overnight stay to enjoy a boozy brunch courtesy of a local establishment whilst catching up. The box contained a sourdough baguette, cheddar chees, Brie, salami and Parma ham to be enjoyed as a starter but we decided the yoghurt, Berry compote and granola accompanied by overnight oats sounded better. The box also contained pancakes (6), bacon and maple syrup and the makings of eggs Benedict (4eggs). We have kept the eggs Benedict to have for breakfast. In addition we had a bottle of Prosecco and 2 delicious cocktails provided. It’s fair to say we both ate well today.

Tried to get a picture of her adorable yorkie poo Scoobie and finally succeeded (see extra) but the first one seemed appropriate for Silly Saturday as she would keep trying to see what I was doing with my phone. I think Admirer would have approved. Thanks to all who are keeping her memory alive and to Kangazu for hosting this month.
