Shore Path Gazebo

Had a very nice walk about town with my wife today. She realized she probably hadn't been in the center of town since the pandemic started, and figured she would probably be fine not going back until the same time next year! In fairness, town tends to be quite busy with tourists in the summer and accept for the occasional ice cream cone we rarely go. We really moved to the area more for the out-of-town amenities.

In any case, pandemic or no pandemic, the place is generally quite deserted in the winter, with most of the shops boarded up. With all the ice about it was nice to get a good walk in without having to slip anything on over our shoes for traction. There's a distinctive gazebo near the town pier at the start of the Shore Path, and I took this shot lying on my back on the floor looking up. One of the benefits of off-season: no worries about looking strange while taking photos!
