Friendship in a Vase

A surprise delivery of some very beautiful flowers from an old friend arrived a couple of days ago.
They looked a bit non-descript to begin with, but soon blossomed and cheered the room with their beautiful colours.
A bit like the friendship they represent. 
27 years of continued blossoming and bringing cheer and solace when it's needed most.
