Rakewood Viaduct

A favourite long walk takes me from home, past Hollingworth Lake and then beneath Rakewood Viaduct into a small valley. The viaduct carries the trans-Pennine M62 motorway.  Sadly, it is often a venue for suicides. Today a small group of people had gathered by a large floral display at the foot of the structure, mourning one such tragedy.
