Busy bee

This morning I came across this bumble bee working over the hyacinths that are growing in the corner of the poly-tunnel. They get in easily enough, following the scent of the flowers, but often fail to find their way out as the light is coming through the entire cover of the tunnel.  In spite of leaving the doors open for them to exit, each year has seen a number of these bees succumbing to the heat.
