Pond life

Swim #16 with O. Very cold again but I'd remembered my flask of tea this morning.
My brother D brought some compost and bricks and pebbles and handed them over the fence.
Got started on the pond in a pot.
Plants are ordered... Horsetail, water forget-me-nots and a mystery water lily. I don't mind admitting I'm feeling excited about it.
Sat on the step and listened to podcasts about the Industrial Revolution for tomorrow.
Now getting cosy, boiling potatoes for tea.
