Jazzing it up

Delighted to see this little family on our way back from a long walk this morning.  Mum and Dad are friends from Linton Jazz and have ensured that baby G brightens everyone's day and won't get lost in his rainbow colours.

It certainly brightened mine.

In other news it's become clear that the huge development on Horseheath Road has stopped abruptly.  We'd noticed there had been no activity for about a week and this was confirmed by the notice on the gate (see extra).  The temporary stop notice alleges that there has been insufficient detail in the plans addressing drainage and flood control and that these should have been agreed before the building work commenced.  Ooops.
