Parliament

Met one of my very best friends for a walk in the city today. I have only been in 3 times since last March, and one of those was a visit to A&E, so it was a real treat to walk around and reminisce. We walked from Jenner's, through Princes St Gardens, over the Mound, up to Castle Esplanade, down the Grassmarket, past the art college, through the Meadows, around Arthur's Seat, past the parliament, and across Calton Hill. I never was very good at pausing to appreciate Edinburgh, but I did today. It was really good to have a long natter in person with S too - she is a excellent soul.
