Gingerbread

Did a bit more tidying up in the garden, then caught up with the housework.
Hemmed the new walking trousers I’ve been needing to sort for days.
Had an online chat with a vet/trainer in the hope of some advice to help with Geordie, but no joy there.
A neighbour came round with a bit birthday cake for Geordie. Her chocolate Labrador, Fudge, is 15 today so she baked him a dog cake, with all sort of yummy ingredients that dogs can have. Geordie was delighted. Then I baked a gingerbread. It is a very old recipe of my mother’s. A particularly damp gingerbread that was a firm favourite when I was wee. Comfort food really.
