Fuzzy Q-tip no more

About six weeks ago, I took a picture of these two eaglets (I tried to put a picture of the two babies with their head just peeking over the top of the nest in the extras, but they wouldn’t go for some reason). They were fuzzyheaded Q-tips at that point. Today, we see the two eaglets are about the same size as the adult (white head, top position of the three birds in these pictures). The one that was standing on the nest seem to be practicing his wing flapping. A couple of times he got up six or 12 inches off the surface of the nest before landing back down. Pretty exciting to see. Sorry the pictures aren’t that great. I had my golf rangefinder with me today – the birds were 270 yards away from where I was standing.
