Stairs at the Rubin

Working on another painting. This one is based on a photo I took of the fantastic stairs at the Rubin Museum in Manhattan. My son’s lady Elke is the marketing director there and she gave us a tour when we were in New York a year ago. I had to take lots of photos. I’ve gone out of the box for the colors. The stair carpet was black, not red. I have more to do on this. Oh and the blue is tape there to keep the edges neat as I paint.
