Horse-drawn funeral carriage

Our neighbour's funeral is today and his family arranged for the horse-drawn funeral carriage to stand outside his house for the neighbours to pay their respects, which we all did. I didn't get a good photo because I didn't want to be intrusive.

I'm sad for his sons and it also brings back losses of my own, so it's rather coloured the day for me.

Being a Monday, I had a clarinet lesson. I wasn't playing well but that wasn't important, I still enjoyed seeing my teacher and getting a lot of help with improving my playing. A lot of encouragement too.

Now I'm going back to my knitting. I need to get in a walk today too but it's going to be a short one.
