Hellebores
I had a good walk in the woods this morning, Xena is going through a very social phase at the moment so plays with every dog she meets - a few months ago she was more choosy, so walks can take longer now.
Gavin is finally feeling much better after his Covid vaccine. In the trials I think it was one in ten people who felt some side effects, but it seems most people I know who have had the AZ vaccine have had side effects. There is also the theory that if you have side effects you have a more efficient immune system, Gavin tells me it also affects people more if they are fit....no evidence of this but it makes a nice story for those who get side effects! I am getting my first vaccine tomorrow and am not looking forward to feeling ill with side effects if that happens.
The news has been full of the Meghan and Harry interview. Having an interview with Oprah Winfrey is a strange thing to do for someone who says she does not want her life in the media. I won't be watching it, I have camera club tonight and we have a Three of a Kind competition which will be more interesting.
After being in lockdown for so long schools finally went back today. When I was at the supermarket this morning the checkout assistant said they were very busy after school drop off and the parents were all smiling with relief!
A hellebore from my garden for Mono Monday.
