A different view

We took a take away coffee to Whiterock this morning, then had a great walk at Sketrick Island. When we had stopped there before we had a short walk, it had been very wet and a lady we spoke to said there was a walk across the island but we were wearing the wrong shoes as it was very muddy. Well, we've had a rain free week so we thought we could try the walk. It was really lovely, we both thought that the path would take us across the island and down onto the road so we would walk past the houses on the way back to the car. Unfortunately that wasn't quite right - the path doubled back on itself, and although we could see the houses from the highest point we didn't walk past them. There were great views all along the path, and we will probably do it again.
