Sunny days ahead

Among the seeds that I sowed at the end of last month were some sunflowers. They have been some of the first to germinate. This one is the most advanced of the 2 that have poked their heads through so far.

If sufficient grow successfully then some will probably go to my sister in law who being from Ukraine loves sunflowers as they are grown prodigiously across the country.
