Week 51 Day 357 Day 70

Pieris bursting forth

Went for a walk after breakfast and for back to start the car as KG had an hospital appointment.  Battery flat.  Phoned Berkeley Vale (where we bought the car from). Gave us the number to contact AA - we explained that we had an appointment at 1:30 and they said they would be out before 11 - they were.  the AA guy thought the battery was dead but he got it started and we left and went to the hospital and waited in the car to the right time.  I had gone along in case KG had to have drops in his eyes which he did so I drove the car  (out of my comfort zone) first time since last April.  Took the car to Berkeley Vale  - they have said they will test the battery and if necessary replace it  so got home about 3:30  not quite the day we envisaged.  
It was a beautiful day  and decided when I went into the garden to photograph the Pieris which really seems  to ave bursted out - it felt more like summer than spring
