What a rotter!

We climbed uphill and crossed the railway line where I spotted this sad little creature.  Otters have been spotted occasionally in the river but I had never seen one before.  It has beautiful fur, but I would rather it had chosen a more fortunate time to cross the track.
One animals misfortune is another's lunch. Up above a buzzard was circling, obviously the smell was attractive for some!
