It's Good to Talk

A quiet restful day.  Enjoyed a long call with my friends A & I putting the world to rights, on this International Women's Day!

This is the Telephone Exchange on the corner of Gardner's Crescent, Fountainbridge.  It was designed by Stewart Sim, a senior architect to The Ministry of Works Scotland, in 1952.   It's in a modern art deco style and is a B listed building.  Before the Exchange was built here there was a fair in the summer and boxing in the winter. 

We finished the brilliant Line of Duty season 5 last night so we're all set for the new season in a couple of weeks.
